Polynesia is not highly populated: approx. 250 000 inhabitants who lives on a couple of dozens of Islands. Within 5 archipelagos on a surface as big as Europe.
These Islands are not very big, you will only stay a short time and then continue on to discover the next Island. To move from Island to Island you need either a Boat or an Airplane. And with that you are dependant on Inter-Island; whom either do not serve that destination or do not offer the transit to the Island on the same day. On top of that each time you change you must recheck-in your baggage before taking the next transit flight to the new Hotel. Finally a lot of fatigue and lost time with the transportation from one Island to the other.

With the Catamaran you will not have to endure these inconveniences. It is a relaxing way of transportation, a hotel with a splendid view, a restaurant on stilts and a private nautical center. On the other hand, contrary to a sailing boat a catamaran offers a larger living space and a better stability for navigation, which will help in the case of seasickness. The most part of the navigation is in the lagoons and the transit between the islands at sea is maximum 5 hours (time for a sun tan, some fishing or observation of the whales and dolphins).

Take the financial side and the impression that a cruise is more expensive than a normal tourist tour. Add the plane tickets, Hotels, restaurants, transfers, rental of kayaks, dives, trips within the lagoon, fishing excursions and the observations of whales….. all the excursions included in the price of the cruise.
( if on top you save on
group prices as of 4 persons and Promotions it can become very interesting.

Conclusion: a cruise is a relaxing way to travel, original, friendly and not more expensive than any other trip.
